Alternative Places to visit in St. Petersburg

The space located at the Grazhdanskaya Street not far from the Sennaya Square has become a real hit of this area. Try some craft moonshine, which is called 'samogon' in Russian, in the Laboratorio Distilita; there are wonderful breakfasts served in the Seize The Impress; for a portion of fun you'd better visit the Yus Yus; and do come over to the FotoDepartament for some cultural inspiration. A nice chill-out zone on the roof is included.

Probably in Saint Petersburg only: an art space located in the 18th century mansion. Enjoy the view of the Engineering Castle from the Tsiferburg timeclub, the Civil bar, and the music oriented Golyzin Hall. There is a Georgian cuisine inspired restaurant called the Kazbegi and the Popravka bar which is an ideal place for some express drinking.

The main opening of the summer 2018 on the Vasilievsky Island is a public space located right at the embankment on the historical territory of the Siemens & Halske. On the weekends there is always something worth visiting, from raves to flea markets.

Among other things, there is the Do Immigration wine bar that has become very popular these days.

Being a society of German craftsmen in 1863, later the building was used as a chess club, a bank, a project institute and even a squat shelter. A century later the Palma brought back not only its name and externals but also its creative residents. Today the Palma is a three-storey building created for comfortable work and creative activities, there is a splendid Theatre Hall where different festivals, concerts, and exhibitions take place right under its chandelier, and the Solaris Lab coffee house which is located on the roof with a panoramic view of the historical part of Saint Petersburg.

Historically it was the first military port and a warehouse but after some investments of the Millhouse Capital UK Ltd belonging to Roman Abramovich the island was transformed out of all recognition. Being a beach in summer time and a rink in winter, it has much more activities to suit all tastes. The Kuznya and the Bottle Houses are of a special interest — it is a cluster with its inner yard located on the territory of the former prison. The entire ground floor offers food and drinks, the first floor has some shops to offer and the second floor is dedicated to health, beauty and sport.
