Despite the influence of European traditions and traditions of the peoples of the Middle East, Georgian cuisine is incredibly original, and many dishes in it are unique. Meat and vegetables are especially tasty in Georgian cuisine.

Salkhino

Voznesensky pr., 55 (Metro st. "Sadovaya")
A restaurant of Georgian cuisine with a 50-year history that was visited by the pre-perestroika Leningrad residents. Now it is a restaurant with four halls. The large one and the chimney one are decorated neutrally, with hints of national color: fancy forged chandeliers carved from wood and chased images of Georgian life scenes. The specialties: Leningrad chebureks, chanakhs and khazani-horovats. Impeccable taste of dishes and warm hospitality.

Mama Tuta

Zoologicheskiy bystreet, 2-4 (Metro st. "Gorkovskaya", "Sportivnaya")
The first Georgian restaurant of Aram Mnatsakanov. The kitchen is headed by Gia Khuchua from Tbilisi, whom the restaurateur met during the filming of the second season of Hell`s Kitchen (Russian version). The menu includes authentic Georgian cuisine dishes in the author`s version: khinkali, khachapuri, homemade bread and a large wine list.

Mindal

English embankment, 26 (Metro st. "Admiralteyskaya)
Works in full mode with the kitchen opened until 2 am. The main focus in the menu is made on the Caucasian cuisine. This is a mix of the best Armenian, Azerbaijan and Georgian dishes. Sitting at a cozy summer terrace which offers a splendid view of the royal Petersburg you can even have a chance to see the draw-bridges opening — the Palace and the Blagoveshchensky ones.

Hochu Harcho

Sadovaya str., 41 (Metro st. "Sadovaya")
A 24-hour open restaurant located a step away from the Sadovaya metro station, Hochu Harcho, specialises in authentic Georgian cuisine. There is a team of Georgian chefs who know the subtleties of the Megrelian cookery.
