What will you see in the Leningrad Blockade museum?

In 1943, the Military Council of the Leningrad Front adopted a resolution on the opening of the exhibition "Heroic Defense of Leningrad" in the building of the former Agricultural Museum in the Salt Town. Over the long extension period, the St. Petersburg Blockade Museum has received many new exhibits and is ready to share with you unique monuments from the time of the siege of the city. Among them are works of graphics, paintings and sculptures, manuscript-documentary materials, objects of soldierly and besieged life, as well as photographs, medals, over 500 items of equipment and weapons, books that published in besieged Leningrad.

In addition, most recently, the Leningrad blockade Museum presented a new exhibition that looks very modern and interactive:

How to get to the Museum of the Defense and Siege of Leningrad

The museum is located between Daniila Granina Skver and the Fontanka River on Solyanoy Pereulok, 9. The museum can be reached on foot from the Chernyshevskaya metro station in about 15 minutes.

Siege of Leningrad Museum opening hours:
Daily: 10:00 - 18:00
Day off: Tuesday
Sanitary day: last Wednesday of every month
